Our beds, compared

Three collections. One way of making.

Every Midsummer bed is made by hand in Italy, from natural fibres. What changes from one collection to the next is the cloth, the rarity of the fibres and how far the bespoke goes.

Choosing

Questions before choosing.

Ask the atelier
Which collection is right for me?

It depends on how you sleep and how far you want the bespoke to go. Essentials is natural comfort, done properly; Signature adds precious fibres, and Loro Piana Interiors on Dreamy and Brera; Icons is the house without limits. The five questions of Find your Midsummer suggest a system, and at the atelier in Milan you can lie on all three.

Are Essentials made differently from Icons?

No. Every system, in every collection, is made by hand in Italy, from natural fibres. The collections differ in the cloth, the rarity of the fibres and how far each system is made to measure.

Can I have a size that is not listed?

Yes. Every system is made to order: dimensions and heights are worked to your drawing, round beds included.

Why are prices on request?

Because nothing is made before it is specified. Size, firmness, fibres and cloth are chosen with you, at the atelier or by video, and the system is quoted from that specification.

How long does a Midsummer bed last?

It is made to last and to be renewed: at fifteen years it goes back to our artisans in Italy, who renew it by hand for fifteen more.
