The cloths our systems are made in, colour by colour.

Loro Piana Interiors

Where a system calls for it, we make it in Loro Piana Interiors: linen for summer, wool and cashmere for winter.

Mystic River, Connemara, Altai, Wish, Cardi, Ely’s Harbour, Bangor and Shadan: each chosen for the system it dresses, each in its own colours. The others are covered in natural linen and cotton.

The cloths

The cloths our systems are made in.

Every cloth here is on one of our systems, with the colours we make it in. Choose a colour to see it larger, and ask for it: the atelier on Via Andegari holds the cards, and sends samples by post.

A linen and cotton with a soft, nubbed hand, heavy enough to hold the line of a mattress. The cloth we use most, in twelve colours.

    Loro Piana Interiors’ Fiore di Cardo: wool and cashmere woven with a thistle flower. It dresses the winter face of the Flora topper; the summer face is linen and cotton.

          A linen woven with a paisley, from the Paisley book. On Paisley it covers the topper, with Katai, a pure silk (AS1005), on the boxspring.

            Seasonal upholstery

            Dressed for both seasons.

            Some systems have two faces, in two cloths: wool and cashmere for winter, linen for summer. The bed is turned when the season changes, not replaced.
