Our bed system draws inspiration from the dynamic lifestyle of Brera, the most fascinating neighbourhood of Milano: this sleeping system really embodies the spirit of a city where design is not just a concept but a way of life. The clean lines and modern simplicity of the bed system reflect the chic and sophisticated atmosphere that defines apartments in Milano. The bed system design has been crafted through a collaboration with Daniela Puppa.
The system consists of a 17 cm thin boxspring and a 13 cm topper/mattress. The former, realised with a base of beech slats and a layer of 900 pocket springs, and upholstered with precious wool, grants an absolute level of comfort while staying slender and modern; the latter, upholstered in an opulent blend of wool an yak hair, has a core of pocket springs. to ensure support.
The base and topper are upholstered with the Loro Piana Interiors Mystic river linen in a great variety of colors; moreover, bicolor versions can be realised by alternating colored sidebands with mattress plates made in white, to make the final look even more unique.
The result is a sleeping system which, despite granting a superior quality of sleep, features a slender and harmonious silhouette, made even more appealing by its sleek and elegant wood legs: at first glance, the Brera system will not resemble a mere piece of furniture, rather an architectural masterpiece as the ones you would admire while walking around the namesake neighbourhood.
