A Liberty Villa on Lake Como

This villa on lake Como is an example of perfectly preserved Liberty style. A large and cultivated garden, with its paths and its garden respects the trends of the garden of the early twentieth century. It is cultivated by the owner, a landscape architect. The interiors had only minor changes during the years. The dining room, with a beautiful lake view, still has a magnificent Liberty mosaic decorations, fireplace, table, boiserie and antique chandelier. Only the furniture of the sitting room has been replaced in the 60s. The bedrooms are furnished with Midsummer beds following the desires of owner, very careful in the preservation of the integrity of the house, but also looking for a more comfortable and contemporary way of sleeping.
